Cancel a subscription
This page in Hebrew: ביטול עסקה. Both versions are official. If they differ, the one more favourable to you applies.
1. The short version
- You can cancel at any time, free, without giving a reason or signing in.
- The fastest way is in the store where you subscribed (sections 2 and 3). To stop the next renewal, cancel there at least 24 hours before it; for a free trial, by the last day to cancel free that the app shows.
- Consumers in Israel can end the subscription early and get back the unused part of what they paid, by a notice to us or, where the store offers it, at once through the store (sections 2, 3 and 6).
- Or tell us by phone (+972 52 386 4584, Sat, 1:00-1:00), email (support@orquestapp.com) or registered mail (section 4), or send the notice in section 9. For a free trial, cancel in the store: a notice to us close to the last day to cancel free may not stop the first charge (section 4).
- On Google Play we cancel for you within 3 business days of receiving your notice (by registered mail, within 6 business days of the day it was posted). On the App Store only Apple can stop the billing, so within 1 business day we send you Apple's steps to finish there. Either way we confirm in writing.
- Refunds: on Google Play we refund your first paid charge for OrQuest on your store account, or a yearly renewal charge, in full if you ask within 14 days of it; Apple decides App Store refunds (sections 2 and 3). These limits do not apply where the law gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, and they do not reduce that right.
- Deleting the app, Delete everything, signing out and Delete account do not cancel.
- This covers every plan: yearly, monthly, a free trial and the one-time offer.
2. On the App Store (iPhone or iPad)
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad (not OrQuest's Settings) and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions, then OrQuest.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (you may need to scroll). If there is no Cancel button, it is already cancelled.
Where OrQuest's Settings show Manage subscription, it opens a subscription screen from RevenueCat, our subscription service, from which you can cancel with Apple, or, if that screen cannot open, Apple's own subscription page. On a device with a child profile it asks the parent question first. The RevenueCat screen asks no reason and offers no discount before you cancel.
This stops the next renewal if you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; access continues to the end of the period you paid for. To avoid a free trial's first charge, cancel by the end of the last day to cancel free, which the app and your Purchase summary show (it falls at least 24 hours before the trial ends).
If your Apple Account is in Israel, Apple's terms for Israel give you the right to cancel at any time with immediate effect and receive a pro-rata refund. Contact Apple Support through Apple's contact page or call 03-3762915 (local rates).
Refunds. Apple takes App Store payments and decides App Store refunds, so ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If the law entitles you to a refund from us and Apple does not give it, we pay it ourselves, within 14 days of your request, by a method we agree with you. Section 6 also explains an Apple charge after your notice that we pay back ourselves. What this paragraph says about refunds does not apply where the law gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, and does not reduce that right.
3. On Google Play (Android)
- Open your Google Play subscriptions, or in the Google Play app tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Choose OrQuest, tap Cancel subscription and follow the steps.
Manage subscription in OrQuest's Settings, where shown, opens the same RevenueCat screen, from which you can cancel on Google Play, or, if that screen cannot open, Google Play's own subscription page. The RevenueCat screen asks no reason and offers no discount before you cancel. This stops the next renewal if you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
If you are in Israel, Google Play may offer to cancel immediately and request a partial refund. Access then ends at once, and the refund covers the days left (Google's page).
Refunds. On Google Play we refund:
- your first paid charge for OrQuest on your store account in full, if you ask within 14 days of it;
- a yearly renewal charge in full, if you ask within 14 days of it;
- for consumers in Israel, the unused part of the period, at any time;
- whenever the law requires a refund.
We consider every other request fairly. If more than one applies, you get the larger refund. These limits do not apply where the law gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, and they do not reduce that right. Ask us through section 4, or see Google's own route in Google Play refund policies.
4. Or tell us
You can give us a cancellation notice in any of these ways:
- Phone: +972 52 386 4584 (Sat, 1:00-1:00).
- Email: support@orquestapp.com.
- Registered mail: Yaniv Cohen (OrQuest), 12 HaShoftim St, Tel Aviv, Israel.
- Online, from this page: press Email this notice at the end of section 9 to open the notice in your email app, or copy it into an email. Send it to support@orquestapp.com. The Cancel a subscription link on the orquestapp.com home page leads to this page.
Ending a free trial? To be sure you pay nothing, cancel in the store (sections 2 and 3) by the end of the last day to cancel free, which the app and your Purchase summary show. A notice to us can take up to 3 business days to act on, and on the App Store only Apple can stop the charge, so a notice to us close to that day may not prevent the first charge. If it does not, sections 2, 3 and 6 explain your refunds.
5. What to put in your notice
A notice needs only your full name and, for a notice under Israel's Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, your ID number. We delete the ID number once your notice is handled; Google, which hosts our mailbox, then removes deleted mail within 180 days.
These details help us find your subscription faster, but are not required:
- The store: App Store or Google Play.
- Your store account's email address, or the order number from the store's receipt (Google Play order numbers start with GPA).
You may also name a later end date, if you want one. If something is missing, we still start, and we may ask you for a detail that helps us find the subscription. Never send a password or card details.
6. What we do, and how fast
- Within one business day we confirm your notice arrived. For the App Store, that reply also gives Apple's steps and, if your Apple Account is in Israel, Apple's route to cancel at once with a pro-rata refund.
- Google Play: within 3 business days of receiving your notice, or, if you sent it by registered mail, within 6 business days of the day you posted it, we cancel your subscription ourselves.
- Consumers in Israel: it ends by then, or on the later date you named, and we refund the unused part. If you would rather keep access until the end of the paid period, tell us and we stop the renewal instead.
- Everyone else: it stops renewing, access continues to the end of the paid period, and section 3 covers refunds.
- App Store: Apple does not let developers cancel App Store subscriptions, so the cancellation finishes with Apple (the steps in section 2). If you are a consumer in Israel, sent us a notice with your name and ID number, and Apple still charges you for OrQuest more than 3 business days after we received it, we pay that charge back ourselves.
- If we cannot find your subscription from your notice, it still takes effect on time: we ask you for a detail that helps us find it, and on Google Play we refund any charge made after it took effect.
- When it is done, we confirm in writing the end date and any refund, to the email address you give us, or to a postal address if you have no email.
- No fees, ever. Nothing is owed after the subscription ends.
Business days are Sunday to Thursday, except Israel's official days of rest, such as the festivals and Independence Day. Where a law that protects you counts days in a way that is better for you, we count them that way.
7. What does not cancel
Deleting the app, Delete everything, signing out and Delete account do not cancel a subscription; the store keeps renewing it. To delete your account too, cancel first, then see Delete your OrQuest account.
8. A purchase a child made
Only adults (18 or over) may buy a subscription. If a child bought or started one without your permission, tell us within 30 days of finding out. On Google Play we cancel it and refund it in full. On the App Store we help you ask Apple to cancel and refund it, and if the law entitles you to a refund from us and Apple does not give it, we pay it ourselves (section 2). This does not shorten any longer period, or limit any other right, the law gives you, including a parent's right to cancel a minor's transaction under the Legal Capacity and Guardianship Law, 5722-1962.
9. A notice you can copy
Press Email this notice below these lines to open them in your email app, or copy them into an email to support@orquestapp.com. Fill them in and send:

Opens your email app with these lines filled in. Add your details, then send it.
10. Your details
We use what you send only to find your subscription, act on your notice, confirm it and keep a record. The record (your name, the date, the channel, the store and what we did) is kept for 3 years, without your ID number.
Giving these details is your choice. If a detail we need to identify you or your subscription is missing, we will ask you for it, and without it we may not be able to find the subscription; this does not change what a notice needs (section 5). The controller of this information is Yaniv Cohen, who runs OrQuest (support@orquestapp.com). Emails are kept in our mailbox at Google (Google Workspace). Under sections 13 and 14 of Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you may see the information about you and ask us to correct it. The Privacy Policy explains the rest, including who else receives information and why.
11. More detail
The Terms of Use give the full rules: subscriptions in section 8, cancelling in section 9, refunds in section 10, and, for consumers in Israel, section 24, which also explains the 14-day right to cancel a new subscription (section 24.5). If you live outside Israel, you also keep any right to cancel or withdraw that the law where you live gives you. For anything else, see Contact and business details.
